This is not a 5 star hotel, but we had a 5 star experience. This was the ONLY hotel that had rooms available. We were traveling eastbound and had been trying to find a hotel since Flagstaff, AZ. One of the owners let us in at 3:00am after ringing the bell. The place is not fancy, but it was clean and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. This is hospitality at its finest. This is not a resort, but you will be treated like a special guest, even at 3:00am.
If I could give this motel zero stars I would. It is dirty, run down and has an empty building in the parking lot, inside the gates parking lot, that has been abandoned and has homeless living it it. The building has sheets for doors and windows. This place is in horrible condition. We refused to stay because we did not feel safe. They told us they would refund our money and now are refusing. Horrible people!
Jay Patel was HELPFUL! Great attitude, reciting "Don't worry" to put me at total ease as he resolved my concern regarding a required deposit.
Kind of feels like staying at your grandma's house. Very welcoming and clean if a little outdated. Biggest drawback is the train track outside but even that wasn't a huge issue. Definitely recommend over the chain motels if you need a place to stay for a night or few.
Great prices. The staff is super helpful and nice. Anything you need just ask. Breakfast was lacking but overall was very taken care of!
