Now, about the room. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the beds were clean, comfortable (two queen beds). However, there was significant roof damage from something and the cracks were clearly visible and POORLY patched. The wallpaper was visibly water damaged and peeled away from the wall. Structurally speaking, I am not sure this was the safest room I've ever stayed in...and won't stay in that room again.
Rooms look great, breakfast is good, and washer/dryer work very well. The 4 stars come into play due to the internet. The fiber optic they have installed is not fast, stable, or optimized. BYOI (Bring Your Own Internet).
Very clean and comfortable room with nice bathroom towels, soft or firm pillows on the bed and extremely nice bedding. Free breakfast had a nice selection to choose from. We'll definitely stay here again!
This place could have earned a fourth star but missed. As a Veteran, I am THRILLED by this hotel's first floor decoration--all military themed. And upon check-in they give you a miniature triangular flag and a thank you card. Their room was clean (I'll tell you more in a minute), and the hotel was quiet. Plus, they're pet friendly within reason.
Weve had a terrible travel experience. Delayed and canceled flights, brand new car wrecked. Flew from California to New Mexico to pick it up and it wasn't finished. Rain storms. But the best part of our trip was staying at this hotel. I don't ever give reviews on places but this place really was great. Best one we've stayed in so far the past few months. Clean, comfortable, they have a pool/spa, laundry. They have a pantry and kitchen. Extras in case you forget your toothpaste or whatever else and the entire place is all military and veteran friendly and decor. My husband is a veteran and we really appreciated all the time and thought that obviously went into the memorials. And they provide complementary breakfast that isn't just cereal. Just great all around. If your ever in or passing through Gallup, New Mexico definitely stop into this place. They have some really neat military and war memorial setups all through out the hotel. Very cool.
Great place. Clean and wonderful, friendly staff. Internet was unusable though hence one star less but if they fix that it's a great place. Also, I'm all for patriotism but this place is WAY over the top. It feels like a military tomb. Mellow out the decor and get real internet and I would stay there any day of the week.
