Just fine for one night. The owners were very nice. They had one room left and asked us to check it first as I think they didn't think it was up to snuff. Good size room with clean carpet and comfortable bed. Fridge included. No it's not the Ritz, but affordable and on route 66!
Stayed 1 week, was told room would be cleaned twice, this never happened. Bed had sagging issues in the center. Domestic violence occurred one time with neighboring motel guest, it was loud. Wheelchair & diapers left in courtyard for many days. There are many other motels in Gallup one can stay at, try another motel. It was a place to stay at, the room was clean upon entering.
Wonderful good people that own it.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone simply passing through looking for a quick night of sleep before continuing on your journey.
I'm giving them 4 stars, because the room, bed, and bathroom are comfortable and clean, and the staff are very pleasant and accommodating. For the price, you can't beat it.
Very quiet & clean place. Very reasonable price. Microwave & refrigerator.
Not a nice place. Just keep going to either Grants New Mexico or all the way into Arizona. Just don't stay anywhere in Gallup. We checked on every motel and they were all disgusting this place was one of the worst. Although you do get what you pay for. Spend that extra $10 and go somewhere else
I was towed to Gallup when my car wouldn't start, and I stumbled the Colonial Motel, as it's close to the dealer. It's on old Route 66, across the street from the train tracks, definitely not the best area of town.
