Driving through town and wanted to eat somewhere that wasn't a chain. Super friendly staff and the Carne Adovada was great! Well worth a visit.
It is not that the food was bad, it just wasn't good. If you like your Mexican bland then you would enjoy eating here. My enchilada was shredded chicken with no seasoning wrapped in a corn tortilla. No other flavors. My husband's taco was the same with some lettuce. We only eat about half the meal and left to eat somewhere else.

Very friendly and efficient service. Food was excellent. I judge a restaurant by the quality of simple stuff. In this case salsa and chips, rice, beans...if they don't get that right, the rest will be average at best. Well this place gets it all right. What a gem.
Mediocre food. Friendly waiters. Chips and salsa portion size was a shortfall in my opinion and was unjust. Other than that everything was good.
