Help offer grants to organizations
I want to update my review. Three years later and I am still not off the mailing list. They have now sent at least 80 mailings. They wasted every cent I donated that was supposedly to feed a family. I have repeatedly called, repeatedly mailed and repeatedly begged to be taken off the mailing list. I have told them I have no more money. I am so poor now that I can't even afford to have a Thanksgiving dinner much less donate elsewhere, but if I did have money it wouldn't go to them. I have never disrespected American indians but whoever is running this company is dishonest. To Jarrid...your review is inappropriate, does not actually review the organization and yet you put five stars. I hope that no one that sees your review will validate it. The original review follows. I made a one time donation to ""supposedly" feed a family of American Indians for Thanksgiving. I sacrificed my own Thanksgiving in order to make that donation. I requested at the time not to be on mailing lists. Since then they have spent (I estimate) $30.00 on mailings to me even though I have repeatedly requested to be taken off. Twice when I requested to be taken off their lists they started sending me the magazine as well. I have called, I have written, I have pleaded with them...I have done all I know to do. My donation was wasted! It makes me wonder where my money actually went. If I knew whom to contact I would request an audit of their records. Please do not give to this organization. There are reports posted on the internet that they refuse to let anyone see their records. I believe these are dishonest people. Give directly to a reservation or a reputable organization that you have thoroughly researched if you wish to aide Native American Indians.
