Cashiers here are unprofessional and have zero customer service. They do not acknowledge you, and are rude when checking you out.
Very nice people. They helped us find what we needed and then the manager hunted down some cardboard for me to make a sign for our rental ( Gallup doesn't have a hobby lobby or anything like that and the store didn't sell what I was looking for) so nice!
The sales person in plumbing was very helpful and patient. The sales person in lumber was most helpful ...he looked up information to confirm dimensions. The folks in the lumber yard were extremely helpful and polite The folks in the yard were most careful in loading cement blocks in our truck bed. Five stars !

I went in the other day looking for a certain piece of wood. I waited about 10 minutes for someone to help me (mind you, I saw many workers in their red vests walking around hurriedly but not really doing anything). When I finally got some help, it was rude, the guy acted like I didn't even know what I was doing there since I'm a woman (that's the vibe he gave me)and said we don't hv that. All that time wasted waiting! Then he just walked off! I try doing business there cuz it's local and I support local business (I'm born and raised here), but honestly, I will go to home depot where they will take a min to help out. More than ace ever has. I'm so upset! I must leave a bad report card for them. Get it together Ace! Note: front area where cashiers are, great! You feel like your guna get great service, then you walk in and, that all goes out the window. You should be ashamed to call yourself a local business when your local customers are treated badly.
